Technical Director and Head Coach
Jeff Wallace brings over 20 years of experience in coaching, strength and conditioning, and athletic development to the Soccer Asylum. A lifelong soccer player and fitness professional, Jeff’s journey began on the fields of Connecticut, where he played travel, school, and club soccer, including competing for Northeast United during his high school years at Woodstock Academy. He continued his playing career at SUNY Maritime College before a shoulder injury shifted his focus to coaching and athletic performance.
With a deep passion for developing athletes, Jeff has coached soccer across various age groups and skill levels, focusing on building speed, agility, and overall performance. His expertise in strength and conditioning was further honed during his decade-long ownership of CrossFit 860, where he ran a highly successful youth training program designed to enhance athleticism and injury prevention.
At the Soccer Asylum, Jeff leads training programs that challenge athletes to reach their full potential, combining soccer-specific fitness with structured strength and conditioning. His approach emphasizes proper movement mechanics, endurance, and power development to help players perform at their best on the field. With a focus on fostering both physical and mental resilience, Jeff is dedicated to helping athletes of all levels maximize their abilities and excel in the game they love.
