Head Coach
Originally from Southeastern Europe, Albania, my journey in soccer began at a young age and has taken me through professional youth environments including KF Skënderbeu in Albania before continuing my development in the United States. Since arriving in the U.S., I’ve competed for top programs including Boston Bolts, Saint John’s High School, and currently Assumption University, where I am entering my fourth collegiate season and serve as captain of the men’s soccer team.
Throughout my playing career, I’ve earned multiple accolades at the high school level while experiencing both the highs and setbacks that come with competing at a high level. At the college level I have over 30 games played and 20+ starts in my 2 years of playing. Those experiences shaped my mentality, leadership, and passion for helping players maximize their potential both on and off the field.
For the past 3.5–4 years, I’ve coached players in 1-on-1, small group, and team environments through the Soccer Asylum while also serving as an assistant coach at Saint John’s High School in Shrewsbury, MA. My coaching philosophy is centered around individual player development, with a strong emphasis on the technical side of the game. I aim to develop creative, offensive-minded players who can score, create opportunities for others, and control the tempo of the game with confidence and intelligence.
I believe the best development happens when a coach understands the person before the player. Building trust and strong relationships allows athletes to grow freely, compete confidently, and truly enjoy the game. Every session I run is built around intensity, repetition, creativity, and passion because ultimately, the player who puts in the extra hours, touches, and work will always separate themselves.
My goal is to push every athlete I work with to reach a higher level while helping them enjoy the process every step of the way. Let’s get to work!
