Biography

Kelsie Cummings is a soccer coach at Soccer Asylum, a training program for young soccer players who want to improve their skills and passion for the game. She joined Soccer Asylum in 2023 after graduating from Providence College, where she played as a defender for the Friars.

Kelsie played high school locally at Millbury High School where she served as team captain during her junior and senior year. Scored 176 goals and tallied 76 assists in her career. Named a SWCL All-Star from 2012-2016 and Massachusetts All-Star from 2013-2016. Earned All-State honors from 2014-2016 and All-New England honors in 2015 and 2016. In 2015, named the Worcester Gazette Player of the Year. Set the record for most assists and points as a junior in 2016. Member of the Millbury High School State Championship team in 2015 and 2016.

Kelsie believes that soccer is more than just a sport, it is a way of life. She strives to instill in her players the values of teamwork, discipline, respect, and fun. She aims to help them develop their technical and tactical abilities, as well as their confidence and character. She loves to share her passion and knowledge of the game with the next generation of soccer stars.
