Head Coach

My name is Kwame Adu Gyumfi, and I am a Division 1 center midfielder currently playing at the University of Massachusetts Amherst after previously competing at the University of Connecticut. Throughout my four-year collegiate career, I have logged over 3,500 minutes at the Division 1 level, gaining valuable experience competing in high-level matches and training environments. During my career, I have recorded 1 goal and 2 assists while consistently contributing as a reliable and hardworking midfielder on both sides of the ball.

As a player, I pride myself on my work ethic, leadership, and understanding of the game. Playing at the Division 1 level has taught me the importance of discipline, consistency, and attention to detail, both technically and tactically. My experience has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of positioning, decision-making, ball control, and the overall demands of competing at a high level.

My main goal is to help players improve technically and tactically while also building confidence and a stronger understanding of the game. I am passionate about developing athletes by focusing on the fundamentals, improving soccer IQ, and helping players grow in a positive and competitive environment. Whether working with beginners or advanced players, I aim to bring energy, knowledge, and real collegiate-level experience to every training session.
