Senior Trainer & Instructor

Rick Porter is a soccer coach who has been playing and coaching soccer for over 35 years. He has a proven track record of guiding athletes to develop both personally and as a team. He is passionate about the game of soccer and the utilization of modern strategies to play the game well.

He is currently a senior coach at Soccer Asylum, a program that offers training and education for players of all ages and levels. He is also the assistant coach of the Assumption University DII Men’s Soccer team and the head coach of the Wachusett Regional High School Varsity Boys Soccer team.

He is focused on building winning teams that are centered around a culture of tradition and a love of the game. He believes in creating a fun and supportive environment for learning and growth, while also challenging players to reach their full potential.

Rick has earned various certifications such as his USSA C License, La Liga Methodology Certification, and an Advanced Goalie Certification.
