Head Coach
Coach Steve Austine Ochieng was born in Kenya in the year 1982 and began his soccer career as a player during his early school years in the 90s. He also played for various teams in Kenya including Soweto F.C., Komarock Rangers F.C, Darling Sports Club, Coca-Cola (Nairobi branch) and the Kenyan Premier League teams such as Re-union F.C. and Mathare United F.C. Later on in 1997, he was selected to represent the national team Under 17 where he played and made his way to the Under 21, 23 and the senior team.
Steve Ochieng is also an experienced and enthusiastic soccer coach with 15+ years of experience in developing players and leading teams to success. He is skilled in creating training plans and drills to improve player performance, as well as fostering team spirit and a positive environment. Because of his ability for analyzing game footage and providing constructive feedback to players, he had the opportunity of coaching Barcedona (Komarock), Soweto Stars, Darlin Sports Club, F.C. Elman (Somali) among many other clubs in Kenya.
In the course of his career, he also studied law at Moi University in Eldoret, Kenya where he graduated with a Bachelors of Laws degree (LLB) in 2010 and later on he graduated with a Masters of Law degree (LLM) at the University of Nairobi, Kenya in 2017. He completed his educational career in Kenya at the Kenya School of Law before relocating to the United States with his family.
